Beyonce Makes History With Amazing Perfomance At Glastonbury Festival

Beyonce headlined this year's Glastonbury Festival, England, and delivered one of the very best performances of her entire career. Thus, 29-year-old Beyonce became the first woman in 20 years to headline Britain's iconic festival, believed to be the biggest rock festival in the world. In 2008, her husband Jay-Z was the first hip-hop star to headline Glastonbury and last night, he was watching his wife at the top of her game, in what was one of the year's most-anticipated performances.

Beyonce reportedly rehearsed for 10 hours each day, preparing for Glastonbury and what a great set it was. Amazing energy, singing and dancing and a fantastic crowd who went crazy as Beyonce performed hit after hit: Crazy in Love, Single Ladies, Baby Boy, Naughty Girl, Irreplaceable, Halo, If I Were A Boy, Sweet Dreams (her own hit mashed up with Eurythmics' song of the same name).

Beyonce also covered Prince's The Beautiful Ones, Kings of Leon's Sex on Fire, Etta James' At Last and part of Alanis Morissette's You Oughta Know, and she performed tracks from her new album, including Run The World (Girls), the new single Best Thing I Never Had, the ballad 1+1, and what I can only hope will be her next single, the track called End of Time.  Beyonce also sang a medley of hits from her Destiny's Child era.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this performance. It was perfect, from beginning to end. It was the kind of performance that deserves a DVD/Blu-Ray release. Beyonce sang for about one hour and a half  in front of 175,000 people and some other millions watching live broadcast across the world. Way to go, Beyonce. Her new album may not be her best, but on stage she delivers effortlessly. This is one of those concerts that needs to be seen in its entirety to get a feel of how good it really was. And kudos to a great crowd who sang, cheered and enjoyed every minute.

Beyonce-Jay Z Pasangan Hollywood Paling Kaya

Los Angeles Pasangan musisi Beyonce dan Jay Z, mengalahkan sejoli Angelina Jolie dan Brad Pitt, sebagai pasangan paling kaya di Hollywood. Kekayaan Beyonce dan Jay Z mencapai Rp 1 triliun.

Majalah Forbes mendapuk pasangan yang menikah pada 4 April 2008 itu sebagai pasangan Hollywood paling tajir. Selama rentang waktu Juni 2008 sampai Juni 2009, diperkirakan Beyonce dan Jay Z mampu meraup US$ 122 juta atau sekitar Rp 1 triliun.

Dilansir dari US Weekly, Kamis (14/1/2010), kekayaan pasangan yang sempat tidak mau mengumumkan pernikahannya itu, dihitung berdasarkan penjualan album, pendapatan dari film, tur, merchandise dan barang-barang dari sponsor yang didapat keduanya. Pada rentang waktu setahun, Beyonce sukses meraup US$ 87 juta, sedangkan Jay Z hanya US$ 35 juta.

Pada survei Forbes tahun lalu, Beyonce dan Jay Z juga mendapatkan gelar yang sama. Ketika itu kekayaan mereka mencapai US$ 162 juta. Artinya, pada tahun ini kekayaan keduanya menurun US$ 40 juta.

Berada di bawah Beyonce dan Jay Z ada pasangan aktor-aktris, Harrison Ford dan Calista Flockhart. Kekayaan keduanya diperkirakan mencapai US$ 69 juta atau sekitar Rp 631 miliar.

Sejoli Hollywood yang paling sering jadi buah bibir, Angelian Jolie dan Brad Pitt, berada di posisi tiga survei Forbes. Kekayaan pasangan dengan enam anak itu diperkirakan US$ 55 juta atau sekitar Rp 503 miliar.
